  1. Gardaland. One of the main characteristics of this amusement park (which is the biggest in Italy), is that it has large themed zones. There are three different types of attractions: Fantasy, Adventure and Adrenaline. They are for dreamers, those who’d like to throw themselves into an adventure or thrill-seekers who’d like to challenge their fears. The latest addition is Shaman, a ride that combines the adrenaline of a rollercoaster with virtual reality and allows you to experience a spectacular journey in the mysterious spirit world of the American Indians.

  1. Mirabilandia. Become a protagonist in an enchanted universe, a flowery oasis immersed in rides, attractions and shows  created to keep all ages and tastes happy. There are five main themed zones: Far West Valley, Bimbopoli, Route 66, Adventureland, Dinoland so the fun is assured. The must-see latest attraction is the Legends of dead town, the largest horror house in Europe; an adventure in a ghost town where sinister entities from the Far West will terrify all… to be avoided by the faint hearted!

  1. Acquafan. With its spectacular water attractions and countless events, Acquafan is one of the most famous water parks in Europe. Not only does it has many water rides and an immense wave pool, Acquafan also has three well equipped areas for the little ones with slides and child friendly entertainment: The focus junior beach, The elephant swimming pool and The Antarctic baby beach. For older visitors Acquafan is open until late into the night where you can go wild with their infamous foam parties. New for 2017 is The Black Hole, the latest slide that is shrouded in mystery and promises to challenge your fear of the dark.

  1. Pinocchio Park. You can live the fairytale in this wonderful amusement park dedicated to one of the most loved characters of both adults and children, because Pinocchio belongs to everybody’s childhood. This is an amusement park full of art, architecture, and games that have enchanted and continue to enchant millions of visitors. Along with this park it is also possible to visit the Garzoni Gardens, a beautiful green monument born from the adoration of flowers and gardens, and the mesmerizing Butterfly House, a lush tropical garden where equatorial and tropical butterflies fly freely. The latest attraction is the Pinocchio Adventure, a compelling adventure park that is accessible directly from the Pinocchio Park and unfolds along the banks of the Pescia di Collodi riverbanks.

  1. Rainbow Magicland. Rainbow Magicland is a fairyland that is ready to bewitch everyone: the big, the little and the bold! It is the largest amusement park of the capital with 38 attractions and many shows, so what is its common theme? Magic of course! The latest addition to the park is the virtual coaster L’Olandese volante (the flying Dutchman), a virtual and real full adrenalin experience aboard the famous pirate ship that takes you on a double trip round the park’s gripping sky high roller-coaster.

  1. Cinecittà World. Cinecittà world is the amusement park that lifts the curtain on the world of cinema and TV. At its heart this park takes you on a journey to new planets, here you can fight alien monsters, or travel back to 1920s America and become immersed in the history of cinema. In addition there are other themed areas: Roma Spaceland, Far West, Adventure Land and Sognolabi, to please everybody’s tastes. The 2017 season promises lots of new additions linked to Cinecittà (the Italian film studios) in the 1980s. The original Cinecittà dream factory actually opened its gates in 1937.

  1. Dinosaur Park. This park offers a trip back into time where you can admire an open air museum with life sized animals brought back to life and faithfully reconstructed from fossils found from 1820 onwards. A guide will accompany you in the park and take you through the Paleozoic Era with the primordial fish, onto the Mesozoic Era and the large dinosaurs, and the Cenozoic Era dominated by mammals. Lots of new additions are in the pipeline!

  1. Lucania outdoor park. The park suited to adventurers who are not afraid of a challenge. There are intriguing acrobatic routes suspended between trees with differing levels of difficulty and heights, each suited to different age groups.  The park also offers visitors other activities like Bird watching, Archery, Excursions with mountain bikes, and Rock climbing. The latest update, it is now possible to have nocturnal visits to double the fun, even at night!

Lucania outdoor park, info, opening times and ticket prices. Accettura (MT),open from 10.00 till 24.00, tickets from 3,00 euro.

  1. Carrisland. A nature park, themed park and water park that sprawls out among oak trees and centuries-old olive trees. A well organized experience that changes guises according to the season. In spring we begin by visiting the Curtipitrizzi Woods passing by Tarzan’s village, the tree house and many other imaginative little nooks. Then take the little train to Carrisland Divertimento the park area dedicated to rides, shows and tales of bandits. In the summer there is the Carrisland Acquapark, for a complete 360 degrees fun experience! For the 2017 season there is a new waterzone in the pipeline: Isla Natascia that enriches the park’s already vast selection.

  1. Etnaland. Here we are in Sicily introducing this vast amusement park where there really is nothing missing: theme park, water park and prehistoric park. At the Themepark you can dream, go for a spin, fly, explore, challenge yourself and.. in summer? Enjoy some water rides and games at the Acquapark! Then take a journey millions and millions of years back in time, all you have to do is visit the Prehistoric park… here you will definitely please all palates! The latest addition is the Colossum, one of the world’s highest water slides at 18 meters!
